Why made to measure
Ready-made kitchen cabinets come in standard unit widths. When they do not fit your wall, filler panels go in between or gaps are left in the corners. Made-to-measure cabinets are divided to the length of your wall and use the whole space.
Designing your kitchen cabinets
Open the design you like and enter the wall length. Depending on the design, you choose the number of units, doors or drawers, wall units, and the door and worktop colours. The designer shows the kitchen in 3D and updates the price with every change. After you order, it is built within 15–20 business days and shipped free.
How to measure for kitchen cabinets
Measure the wall at worktop height, from corner to corner. Note where the windows, boiler, sockets and water outlets are, and at what height. Subtract the gaps you will leave for the oven, dishwasher and fridge.
Choosing kitchen cabinets
Drawer units are easier to use than door units for the pots and pans you reach for most. Make sure wall units hang high enough not to hit your head, and that their doors do not open into a window or the extractor hood.
Made-to-measure kitchen prices
The price depends on the design, the wall length and whether there are wall units. To get the price per metre, divide the price you see in the designer by the wall length. You can pay in up to 12 instalments depending on your card.
